"what are we watching?"
"A show where a problem arises that affects every day people who are suffering and smart kind people do their best to help."
"Where are the dragons?"
"It's not fantasy!"
"What????"

Knights of Guinevere is everything I could have hoped for after years of being a massive Dana Terrace and more. It's the kind of art that keeps me inspired to create and try to make things that matter.
But, a little comfort and a little thought can go a long way
I think that's kind of the curse of being someone who sorts out their emotions through creativity. We want to believe that there's some perfect artistic stroke of genius we can pull off that will change the world.
The best we can hope for is to give a little comfort or provoke a little thought
Being a good person means waking up every day and giving what you have.
Some days that's nothing. And that's perfectly okay. There's nothing noble about self destructing
That concept is the hard part. And if we don't get it right the other stuff doesn't matter. It sucks that most of the world sees art as some kind of mystical super power and not labor.
This is what I think people fail to grasp about all creative fields. People on the outside over value ideas and under value execution.
Having the idea for my game was the easiest bit of work I've done in it so far. Me and a crew of 6 people each working inside our own areas to actually execute on
I am a 3D animator and rigger with two years of experience working on various first and third person indie games.
Here's a link to a post containing my demo reel! I appreciate your willingness to support others in the community.

Nothing makes the kind of person who is still super active on Twitter more angry than someone somewhere happily ignoring them. It's wild.
There is a whole genre of person that is really good at convincing themselves they're the first person to ever have an idea. They then do zero research on the scene and give zero credit to anyone paying the groundwork.
By default, their brain is the good brain. The destined brain.
I cried for a bit and now am sitting here trying not to sink into numbness and stare at a wall for hours.
Everything about this new world feels built to make us question if anything is worth building when some coward can take it all away in a second.
Ceos are short sighted. They don't want journalists that can decide to write about their games. They want massive media networks that they can pay to write an ad for them and call it an "article".
'it has no soul' is not really the problem, because it sort of has all the souls in it. the trouble is that they're blended into a homogenous paste. and when you do that, you end up removing any potential for depth. pressing all piano keys at once isn't a melody.

You really have to start being more strict with your application of the rules. No more than five followers at a time and we have to rotate in. It's only fair.
I can hear the music hitting
MEGALOVANIA is a pure fucking party starter. If you play MEGALOVANIA in a room and no one is dancing, fighting, lifting weights, or head banging, every single person in the room must choose one of the listed activities and begin.
People who want this kind of thing don't know anything about game design. They just know the very basics of what a video game is and are obsessed with creating "problems" AI could solve because they've been desperately telling everyone it's the future for years and spent money.
Your fantastic joke aside, I will never understand why we are so eager to hand off the future to an algorithm we programmed.
People treat AI like it's higher than human when it's just a tool we built. It doesn't have the answers.
Is the wizard that lives there friendly or is getting within fireball distance Ill advised?
At least something good came out of people taking someone calling eating mass amount of McDonald's "responsible" seriously
Happy Saturday!

What that kind of souls player doesn't understand is that while "get good" is often the solution to beating souls games, no one spends enough time to get good at a game that they aren't enjoying or feel is unfair just for the point of it.
You have to be gentle with people who are at that point
People who think writing is a dead profession are just telling on themselves that they have so little feel or care for storytelling that they cannot tell the difference between an AI and human written story.
I generally think there's a hole where something important should be if that's true.
It is so frustrating to see the exact things this administration said they'd do get done, the logical consequences of those actions happen, and people act surprised.

Thank you so much to the incredible artist who created this. Ash has been amazing to work with at Cow Town and is currently doing amazing things on a couple projects under their banner. Follow them on Instagram at @ash.pio.art

The fact that the game frames this as you making an even fair trade of the stick for the now empty wasps nest is comedy gold
