Ahahahaha, it feels so good to have my first book made into an audiobook. Dream come true.
Can't freaking wait for Tallah to launch early next year. Preorders are now available.

AI slop in Anno 117... if there ever was a quicker way of killing off my interest in my favorite franchise of all time...
Thank you, #Ubisoft. You've saved me 60β¬ this month.
Fuck you.

About time I got a second series running over on RR. Available starting today, this is a story I'm enjoying writing so much.
#CoverReveal? Yes, cover reveal!
Baconstrap's done an amazing job on this cover for my upcoming dark fantasy novel. And the folks at Podium have been a joy to work with in getting this cover to where it is now.
Krypto The real star of the new Superman Movie π
If there's something to be taken from the Superman movie, it's how accurate its depiction of the outrage machine really is.
Decided on some home-made decorations as I prepare to change up some rooms in my home.
Bram Stokerβs Butthole.
Pup enjoying the heat wave.
It was a fun hour, honestly.
But that look he got when I walked in... man, it matters for kids to show up for them. Even if it's for silly games. Even if you're 30 minutes late. It matters and it builds them up. Every little bit we do with them builds them up into the adults they'll be.
And it made a huge difference for him. Lit up like Christmas morning when I walked in. I got to participate in a sack race (and lose it), search for him blindfolded (unfair advantage since he's bandaged after a door handle mishap), and even do some tug-of-war of dads vs kids.
I left my contractors to handle the end of the project on their own and left early, just to try and make it home on time. Waze said I would be there technically in the nick of time... clearly that was a lie.
But I did arrive.
So, he went with his grandpa. My son loves his grandpa. He only has one grandfather, and they're as close as they can be. But... for this, he wanted me to attend.
Pre-weekend traffic and construction work on the highway cost me an hour. From 20 minutes early, I arrived 30 minutes late.
My son had a father - son day celebration at kindergarten yesterday, for Father's Day. I was supposed to attend but got swamped at work due to my contractors being 2 hours late (I was 2.5 hours away by car). Planned my whole day to be on time for my son's event... but some people move slow.
"If you don't follow back within X amount of time of when I followed you, I will unfollow and block"
Could you just... block directly? I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
Great if glazed.
Can I just say that I'm a HUGE fan of the title of your work? It's one of those that I really wish I would've thought of.
Disgusting.
"We won't share the budget, but believe us we couldn't afford to do it with real people's work"
Fuck off with that.
Holy crap... I've finished 3 books of my angry sorceress story. Feels a bit surreal, but that word count doesn't lie. 450K words... and we're barely past the halfway point.
I've been a Soul Reaver 2 fan since 2001. It's in my Top 5 games of all time.
But even so, I have to admit that Soul Reaver 1 is the better game of the two. By quite a bit. Like with many old games, I can only wonder how amazing this game would have been if the devs could've achieved their vision.
I miss only one thing about being a wage slave... and that's getting to be excited for Friday.
Freelance work pretty much blends days together. But this complaint is so fucking small compared to the overall joy of not dealing with any level of management.
I'm not complaining.
I'm bragging.
A cartoon in three panels. In the top panel, three persons carrying a log beam over their shoulders come across a pit. The first person would fall into the pit, but can hold to the beam. The first person has Ukrainian flag. In the second panel, the middle person, with EU flag, would be in danger - but the other two keep carrying the beam. In the last panel, the last person - Canada - avoids falling in the same way. The cartoon is titled "No one will fall, if we stick together."
A reminder I found online. Together we are strong. Now we just have to hang together, so that no one is hanged separately.
Finishing writing a book is such a rush. Equal parts elation and terror.
I'm on the final chapter of Book 3 of Tallah. Had to throw out the first draft of the chapter as it didn't flow as I wanted it.
Second attempt is on-going.
Three volumes down.
Three to go.
I have reached a much expected point in my life as a dad.
I've started reading The Hobbit to my son. And he's enjoying it and asking questions.
Reading to him has been one of the greatest things I've ever done as a dad, and seeing him so excited for every new book just floors me.
The one time article 5 of the NATO charter was invoked was post 9/11. It lead to the UK & other countries going to war in Afghanistan and Iraq supporting the US.
You now have to question if that was actually worth anything now, or did we all just waste our time, money & the lives of our soldiers.
33 times Zelensky thanked Americans and US leaders β a number counted by CNN journalists over the course of the full-scale war.
This comes amid accusations from Trump and Vance that Zelensky has shown βinsufficient gratitudeβ toward the US.
