Big disagree. Mechanization had led to massive downsides on overtillage, biodiversity lose, increased flash flooding, dust vocs clogging the atmospheres. We have lost thousands of food varieties in favor of large flavorless yields.

I’m not advocating for complacency but every once in a while I wish people would acknowledge how far we have come as a society. The majority of the American people are the most progressive and tolerant in our history. Our Democrats are further to the left, socially, than ever before.

Not sure about the particulars of the law but my downstairs neighbor was murdered by her ex-husband who keep throwing fireworks outside her house at 3 am. The judge denied her a restraining order.
