I'm having wound envy! Mine was a full replacement, with a much longer wound, & staples. The district nurses were supposed to know how to remove them, but didn't. I was screaming, & used swear words I didn't even know I knew!
So glad yours is less invasive x

Lucky thing! They offered me surgery, but admitted it was risky. Glad I said no - it sounds like the op that Gary Numan's wife has had recently. The BBC says her left arm is paralysed (& she's left-handed)...

I've found a good chiropractor - she's helped reduce their duration & frequency (my personal record before was a 10 day migraine! 😭)

Hips aren't so bad, I'm told (my brother has had both of his replaced). I'm on the waiting list - I too am loved by osteoarthritis 😞, so I sympathise. It's worst in my spine & neck - gives me lots of pain & rotten migraines.

The local crows aren't happy about the missing tree. 16 were perched in a tree at the front of my house today - looked quite intimidating. Am going to try to redress things in a small way - have ordered a new beech tree, plus an apple tree (@debswithcats.bsky.social ) gave me the latter idea! 👍✔️

Whilst you're at it, then, you might as well tell them that I've started to bring out my solar lights. Note "started", cos Blackpool has nothing on me - the people on the ISS wave as they fly over my house! 🤣

Apologies, world, but I had to do it! It was so sunny today that I wore shorts whilst gardening, exposing my 'orrible knees to the elements. I hope I haven't traumatised too many people, & you'll doubtless be relieved to hear that rain is forecast for tomorrow 😁

Why am I not even a little bit surprised? Demonising the disabled & trying to break us down still further is easier than actually fixing things.
