Wild idea. Maybe the game just wasn’t very good and the studio was mismanaged like so many others before it.
Nah, can’t be that. It’s espionage!

I stopped going to Target and Walmart over them locking everything and requiring an associate to come unlock it for you. When they also criminally understaff every shift.
It sucks, but they drove me further towards Amazon
I’m also hearing that at some polling locations in Ft Worth that there are tons of voting booths designated for Rs, and far fewer for Ds, causing really long lines for D voters
Oh yeah that’s dumb as hell. I want zero rushing on holiday
Eh, I have a no-plan approach to most of my travel. I book transit and accommodations but leave the rest to be sorted out more or less in real time. Means I’m never late for things or stressing about missing out. And I stumble across stuff I would have absolutely missed otherwise
I see you inherited your dad’s sense of humor!
No matter how many times you send me emails about it Microcenter, I'm never going to buy the NVIDIA DGX Spark. Not even if you send me an email about it 2-3x a week.
Treasure Chest. 100%
Yeah this is what I don't get about "side work for your portfolio"... I get to the end of the day/week and I am mental mush. I spend most of my Saturday staring into the void because I cant muster the energy for anything else. Then I spend Sunday panicking about stuff I have to do on Monday
You're great. Happy Birthday!
And we won't even get into how in many places ALL of this ends up falling on the Producer because everyone else is too busy...
*TRUMP’S GLOBAL TARIFFS STRUCK DOWN BY US SUPREME COURT
My secondary is 60Hz and the difference as I move back and forth between them is distracting
*sobs in 180Hz*
I don't know what game this is, but importing the Space Marine 2 character models into it was genius.
I think we are all agreed that Catcher in the Rye can be dropped from any and all curriculums
JFC this is a dumb take. According to Maya we should abandon:
Shakespeare
Tolkien
Carol
Lewis
Stoker
Homer
Etc..
How sad and empty would such a world be?
Sony Exec: These fish are TERRIBLE at climbing trees! Fire them!
This was their entire Live Service strategy... take studios and tech stacks that only ever made narrative-driven single player games and suddenly pivot to making big multiplayer live service versions.
Make bad game: Studio shut down
Make many good games: Sorry, studio still shut down
How can anyone pretend this system actually works anymore?
Seriously. I mean Sony Leadership already made the blunder of assigning this team, known for amazing remasters and great co-dev support work, to make a live service game from scratch.
If I worked at Nixxes, I'd be very worried right now.
“Is there a technology the left is excited about?”
High-speed rail! MRNA vaccines! New cancer treatments! Solar and wind energy collection! Better and longer-range EVs! That wood that's harder than steel! New apples! Fibermaxxing! Buldak Swicy ramen! Muppets! Muppets are too a technology, shut up!
I hope things in our industry change for the better in the future. I will not allow anyone to feel this way again.
I know plenty of academics (grew up in a college town) and certain disciplines always seem to be head-in-the-clouds theory-is-reality types
Academics like this spend their entire careers focused on the theoretical. How things could/should be. They have no practical real world experience and staunchly believe that their theory trumps your reality.
Highly recommend! Outstanding cast. Probably my favorite Gregory Peck performance
I think the movie had more to do with this characterization. Duval definitely played Boo Radley with some sort of mental struggle/as ND
I got into an argument at work about this point the other week. The pro-AI argument that made me just walk away:
"Yeah, but kids today growing up with AI will love it and not care."
I confused the hell out of my partner a few years ago when I was recording scratch dialogue and kept repeating odd phrases over and over and over again.
The best line that worried them the most?
"The tingle means it's working!"
