I'm so sorry. I watched mom go through the same (squamous cell cancer in her case) 15 years ago. At first they said "We will get this". She went through a few weeks of chemo and radiation but it was just too far advanced. The hardest thing was watching her deteriorating so quickly. A blessing maybe
