All the makings of a world war here
I bought a Dell 4 years ago and returned it 2 days later. Absolute trash.

My "assiette houmous" became ass hummus
What does an ai chief of staff do and why do I hate it
Maybe she rode her bike there?

Same. What a bummer.
An argument for UBI going forward will be the coming revolution of the working class of it doesn't happen. You can't have >25% sustained unemployment and not expect a revolution, IMO.
Today the commercial value of that less societally important work is lower than the white collar work. In the future that won't be the case, so it almost doesn't matter why we don't invest more in housing/art today. This will force society's hand.
What you're saying is true. I guess my view is that AI will FORCE us to reposition human labor towards other, likely more productive, output because the commercial value of white collar work will be so low.
So yes, we could regulate investment and spend more on housing, art, etc today
I've been going deep with AI lately. It fills me with existential dread and excitement.
I don't think most folks in tech, let alone outside of it, realize what a bloodbath this is going to be.
I debate pivoting hard in my career all the time now. Should I be a farmer?
I could've been more clear. We're not building housing with AI. My point is if AI can do white collar work, then we have more humans available to work on other things, like I listed.
AI's effects have barely been felt. My own discipline, SaaS internal operations, is going to be devastated by AI.
We tell people on sales calls all the time "we build whatever people will pay us for"
Personally, I don't think we need as many people creating content for dumb SaaS websites, email marketing, ads, etc.
Wouldn't it be great if that time could be reallocated to public works of art, curing diseases, building more housing, etc?
AI is an amazing advancement for humanity but I do support limiting the autopilot use of AI where it could potentially be dangerous
Same honestly
Gross. So gross.
Still hate him

I got covered in trash juice working as a lifeguard in high school. I was so disgusted that I started dry heaving and sprinted to the pool and jumped in.
I called it trash juice at the time too.
Deal mostly

Oh you can do time based ones? I should use these more liberally
Presidents. Don't. Have. The. Power. To. Declare. War.
Honestly a fantastic point. I've spent literally thousands of hours in my career generating reports that have contributed to zero business decisions.
Somebody I know once said "being great at data generation doesn't mean being great at data execution"
