Well, I've recently been reinspired to revive a TTRPG I was working on that would have been sort of Titanfall 2, with the bacground ground setting of a bunch of colonies of slave labor that rebelled against corporate overlords.
Then pick up a few goobers along the way to round out the party, and maybe have some snogging going on during down time.
Honestly if I were gonna continue Willow I would have had like, the grandchildren of the great heroes Sorsha and Madmartigan against someone trying to bring Bavmorda back.
They meet the elderly and terrifyingly powerful but down to earth Willow who sends an apprentice with them.
I mean. There used to be. Then we got a federation with android slave labor and "the burn."
And that's when I left.

(I was already not included to watch it, then some friends told me a few things that pissed me off, but not much about the actual plot. So I'm curious. XD)

I 100% go along with the whole "keep medieval medieval for my fantasy" angle, it's actually been a huge problem in finding a TTRPG group for me (especially guns. So many people want guns in D&D.)
But I had a much bigger gripe with the Willow Show: it didn't need to happen! The end was satisfying!
