Checked out #NorwichSciFest today ahead of manning one of the (aviation-related) stands tomorrow. Great talk from Guy Gratton + Mushfiqul Alam (Uni of Cranfield) on Building (+ testing!) the Aircraft of Tomorrow. Conundrum: longer wings would reduce drag, but flexibility would create instabilities

Headed to #RadTechCon by boat. Not the quickest or cheapest way to get there, but a lot less stress than taking the tube in #London during rush hour. Taking in some sights. I remember when the Thames Barrier, the Millenium Dome, and the cable car were built, but never visited when I lived here.
