The OG sketch for this is crazy old. Years later I decided to finish it for fun as a after work treat to myself. Working in the industry for as long as I have you sometimes for get why you started. So many of us just keep giving to everyone else and forget to give to our selves like we used to.

Side note: despite the credits saying I colored the whole cover I only colored the 03 side “Ciro” fully illustrated and colored the 2012 side.
That said I did offer to color that side and I wanted to paint it so it resembled 2012 as it aired. IDW declined the offer unfortunately.

The subtlety to the portrayal of Solid Snake or any Snake with a head band is that the line of the head band never curves up word at the Side it makes a straight diagonal line to the under part of his brow.

Yup, I pretty much drew every #metalgear😆 Here's #MetalGear Gander from #GhostBabel. Gander is from an alternate universe where the Shadow Moses incident doesn't happen. Instead, Snake is called out of retirement to infiltrate the ruins of Outer Heaven now occupied by the GLF Group
