We also released the next update to our Deadly Quicksand mod which has the fabric version and stops the milk from removing the bleeding effect forcing players to use the bandages. There was a bug with the forge version but shortly fixed and an update is out with that fix.

My biggest challenge this past week has been trying work out the best way to render a hook and rope for an escape out of any of the blocks in our mod. The funniest thing to do has been making each of the blocks having an outline when you walk into them.
We launched our first versions of our Deadly Quicksand, which can be found on curseforge. This mod basically add several different blocks that player can fall through. We've also been work on new features for it, described below.

This is a mod that I coded recently after joining a new small team of Minecrafters called PixelForge. Please check out the mod it contains different quicksand style blocks that do different things, as well as a Rope (coming in the next update) that can help you get out of the quicksand with ease.

Infection, a minigame plugin where players must survive through waves of incoming monsters, these monsters will find their way through wooden barricades which the player must repair to keep the monsters at bay. Players will be able to gain power ups and upgrades through coins gained from kills.

After on-and-off development of this project for almost a year, I'm pleased to say my Minecraft plugin, Infection, is almost ready. It will feature waves where different monsters break through barriers to come and kill you. During the game, gain coins to unlock new rooms and upgrades/power-ups.

It's a beautiful site to see this happen. Some people would say that the slowness is bad. But it's good. It shows how popular a platform is and is becoming and out performs what they initially thought at this stage.

I honestly love it (when it works) for making simple minigames and stuff 😅
I know the versions aren’t supposed to work together but Bedrock shouldn’t be missing feature it “should” have more since it’s the newer version and all. And the one they care about more.
Literally this is so true. I was working on making a mini game server with a friend of mine. Trying my best to code the games to work on Java and Bedrock. But there was so many lacking features on bedrock that it just became a waste of time trying.
I personally think the second one is better.
