Paternal: WWII vet and farmer, primarily cattle and row crops. Helped my grandmother run the KofC dance hall.

I remain absolutely furious that all this shit in Minneapolis started because a barely-literate homeschooled mormon made a video trying to run up in daycare centers trying to find people of Somalian descent doing fraud despite the ringleader (a white woman) being in jail since March. Demonic.
What's happening in Minnesota is one reason the Reconstruction Amendments banned insurrectionists from holding office. Unfortunately, the originalists on the Supreme Court interpreted the plain language of the amendment to mean its opposite.
At this point, even by the strictest Hobbesian standards, this government has abandoned its duty to serve the public, and is illegitimate.

I see the "how will we enforce the laws if we abolish ice?" thing is being trotted out and three things:
1. Ice isn't old enough to rent a car
2. How did we enforce them before ice, isn't that an option?
3. Should we even be enforcing these laws?
Call it what it was. It was murder. The American gestapo did not merely kill someone. They *murdered* her. It was very obviously intentional. Murder. Just because they wear the trappings of authority does not mean they are excused from being called what they are: MURDERERS.

ICE isn’t welcome here. ICE shouldn’t exist. Every elected official must be clear-eyed about the fact that ICE is a threat to our entire country and must be abolished. As we in the Twin Cities know too well, our taxes are going to fund an entity that is attacking our neighbors; this has to end.
