So wait, do Feeds not get aggregated into your Following feed? I have to load them as separate tabs? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of curation?

Gotta say, after using TikTok, the concept of manually organizing my feed feels archaic to me. I much prefer the approach of getting stuff pushed to me an being able to thumb up / down to see more / less.

Don't even know where I would start in picking feeds to follow on here.

There's a lot to like about Bluesky but also some low hanging fruit UX fixes that I can't for, like: lack of badge on the bottom notif. icon and the lack of expandable (non modal) side nav where the notif badge is actually displayed.

Both together make it hard to know when stuff is happening here.

Turning off replies seems to make reading my feed much more manageable for me. Glad I found this setting.

It's wild that a service (Twitter) would actively stop you from using it. They're effectively paywalling the site into the ground.
