Sleepy. Divisive. A fan of young Trump: A look at the new plaques on the Presidential Walk of Fame President Donald Trump has added partisan and subjective plaques to a refashioned West Wing walkway he calls the Presidential Walk of Fame.

I'm not overly involved in the Ruby world these days but my RubyGems fork from way back when is seeming a lot more relevant.

Conceptually anyway. The fork itself is kind of a bogus technical nightmare.

Depends what the question is :)

GitHub y'all gotta get over this set-output deprecation thing. We're 3 years deep into this "deprecation" and pretty much every action I depend on still uses it.

Take the L and just support the syntax.

OpenAI complaining that DeepSeek took their data without asking is very LOL

Seems pretty conclusive.

So wait, do Feeds not get aggregated into your Following feed? I have to load them as separate tabs? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of curation?

Gotta say, after using TikTok, the concept of manually organizing my feed feels archaic to me. I much prefer the approach of getting stuff pushed to me an being able to thumb up / down to see more / less.

Don't even know where I would start in picking feeds to follow on here.

Bsky or Threads, fight.

So far the discover content on Threads is much more curated even if sometimes a little goofy.

All the right wing conspiracists were right all along. Bill Gates is out there trying to put chips in all of us.

Don't worry bsky, Threads feeds are a mess.

There's a lot to like about Bluesky but also some low hanging fruit UX fixes that I can't for, like: lack of badge on the bottom notif. icon and the lack of expandable (non modal) side nav where the notif badge is actually displayed.

Both together make it hard to know when stuff is happening here.

Turning off replies seems to make reading my feed much more manageable for me. Glad I found this setting.

I'm probably here now. Locked out of Twitter isn't a good look.

It's wild that a service (Twitter) would actively stop you from using it. They're effectively paywalling the site into the ground.

I think at this point I might have seen every building piece you can use to make contraptions in ToTK and I still have no idea where Link is and why he needs a B52 bomber.

Hi. I just mono repo'd. That's not a euphemism, just an actual status update.
