I think you are missing the point my comment? I was criticizing the OPβs comments about Zack and Jolyon.
I don't think it's reasonable to say that any of the cis allies, including Jolyon and Zack, made it about themselves at all.
I do believe that there are a number of Labour MPs (possibly even most) who are supportive of trans rights. I welcome that, but it will never replace visibility and volume.
I welcome any support, but I do not think it is reasonable to criticize those cis allies - and particularly politicians - who are willing to be loud and visible.
It is so hard to be trans right now, yβall. Like, I canβt speak for everyone but Iβm white-knuckling it pretty much constantly at this point. I hope cis people are understanding how much is at stake for us in this moment: Itβs literally our right to exist as ourselves that is being stripped away.
We were honoured to be part of Trans Mission Live and to stand in solidarity with the trans+ community.
Thank you to the organisers, incredible talented artists, & especially the trans people who filled the arena with such powerful trans joy. The energy, warmth & community in the room was electric.
The Scottish Greens are concerned that the advice of Helena Kennedy & the expert working group has been ignored by the Scot Gov. We should be creating dedicated misogyny legislation, not adding to the existing hate crime frame work.
The only thing prohibiting you going out through this door right now is the goose attacking. It is open for going out should the goose not do that
The lady in front of me looked at me, did a double take and asked if I was alright. Made me realize if there was *anywhere* I was absolutely safe in a toilet queue, it was at Trans Mission! π
One of my favourite moments of the evening was in the queue for the ladiesβ in the Arena. I was defaulting to my normal defensive posture where I try to hide in on myself and make myself small to minimize any risk of people noticing me.
It also would appear that you can not do the last in Belfast, but you could in Bangor, Dundee or Leicester.
Something has to give and it isnβt the Good Friday Agreement.
Caroline, let me assure you it did not read like that and everyone knows that you are not a transphobe!π«
The lovely Sabah Choudrey giving @transparentaction a shout out in the metroβ¬οΈ
Weβll keep pressing. The tide will turn. Hold on. Everyone just hold on.
Reach out for help if youβre struggling. This will pass.
Trans joy is real. Trans Lives Matter.
Trans people are some of the best people I know.
Anti-trans group set up by 4 mums "has *dozens* of members nationwide" and gets a big write up in the Telegraph.
@transparentaction.bsky.social a pro-trans parent group set up by 4 mums has over 1350 signatories to it's pledge.

I did video Kate Nash performing GERM, which I will definitely be listening to again!
Question: is an intersex person protected at all under this law? If someone is targeted for being intersex, is that just fine for Scotland?
Yes, they would. That was essentially the reason given why this wasnβt a problematic wording. (I donβt agree with that, as it brings other problematic interpretations.
I didnβt get one of his speech, sadly, my battery was dying at that point!
Even for them this would be a case with no grounds at all!
βSheβs the exception, I am the rule.β
Such articulate cutting through of the nonsense around puberty blockers and eg Keira Bellβs detransitioning from Stephanie Lynnette on GMB this morning. It is also a refreshing relief to see a trans person actually being allowed to speak for once!
π
How good was he?! Just magnificent.
Sorry, sorry. To be fair, itβs all they bloody think about anyway, the bunch of losers.
How long before they try to sue Wembley Arena for not implementing a segregation policy? π
Well now I have a new favourite moment! π
