The clickbait outrage is framing it as "they made the whole game with AI" when... No. They experimented with DallE and made textures when it was first available to the public, 3 or 4 years ago, one time. Then stopped. And admitted to that.
Nothing in the game is generative AI, people are farming.

I think it's an Unreal Engine store problem, the assets are flooded with slop, it was likely an accident. But they do need to make a statement, yes! I agree
