I mathed last night to see how many words, theoretically, I could write in 6 months, and the total was jaw-dropping. I could have 7 full length novels done in that time, with wordage to spare.

Anything can be a selling point.
As a writer, if it's not your blurb, your cover, or your name, it's the first line of your story.
I once sold a book solely off that, which was: "Ugh, my stomach is killing me. I knew I shouldn't have eaten that fourth chimichanga.”

I think I'm terrible at promoting my own stuff but I will scream to the heavens about fellow authors releases because it makes me happy and I think they deserve the attention.
