Well, I did it. (Look closely for those that have been following along)

She cooked up a storm for dinner last night: Butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh, Aloo Gobhi, Palak Paneer, Dal Tadka, Thoran-style cabbage, carrot and coconut salad, cucumber salad with yoghurt dressing, Basmati rice 👩‍🍳 🇮🇳 😋

Completely fine. I don’t go to any work parties of my husband (and he doesn’t come to mine), but we go to private parties with colleagues of each if that makes sense

When Qantas has its shit together it really works. Arrived at the airport 6:13am, seamless security check, delightful lounge, on time departure, smooth flight, at the office by 9am. Let’s go Monday.

Now wandering the streets looking at things and listening to Handel arias.

Took myself out for lunch. Started with a zucchini flower with a crab mousse and red capsicum puree, then had spaghetti agli scampi, and finished with tiramisu. And to drink a Campari spritz, then a glass of cataratto followed by a frappto nero d’avola blend, and finally a fernet branca and espresso
