Sometimes it feels weird to bring this point up so much given EVERYTHING going on, but its the only one people I know actually respond to. Maybe its because they dont know about NOAA, or maybe because they realize it affects someone they personally know.

I dont disagree with the premise, I just disagree with the methodology. An anti-climate person might draw soundings from somewhere on a day that happens to show cooling with time as a rebuttal with no actual context around each sounding.

Im not entirely sure how you're reaching this conclusion. It looks more like the sounding was either taken in a storm or not long after. Additionally, taking one day over a couple of spaced out years would draw faulty conclusions about changes in climate trends.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for the correction! Ive always gotten them on my phone the same way I get presidential alerts so I assumed it was gov.

NOAA/NWS do issue severe alerts that broadcast to phones. However, users have the option to turn these alerts off (along with amber and silver alerts) and, in my experience, sometimes dont work. As for why no app, budget cuts. Theres no money alotted to the DoC to make a NWS app.

Very sad to hear the news in Minnesota, but I am extremely proud of the people in my hometown. Champlin/Brooklyn Park are extremely strong communities. No amount of killing can stop the Twin Cities from speaking out against tyranny. The North Star State shines on.
