I've just started playing Daggerfall (DFU) and my jaw dropped when I installed some mods and jumped into it. It's so immersive. I never played Daggerfall before, so didn't expect to be completely sucked in.

Not to mention the sheer amount of work (>10 years of dev) by the creator. Just wow.

Daggerfall (DFU) has become not only my favorite Elder Scrolls game, but one of the best gaming experiences of my life. I never expected it to be this good.

Yeah, checked it today and didn't like it at all for this reason. PD2 with D2R graphics would end my social life.

Considering buying D2R (returned after launch, as I didn't like it), as a fan of Project Diablo 2 (really enjoy splash mechanics), in order to play Reimagined. I love PD2's gameplay, but for updated graphics with better gameplay than vanilla Reimagined seems like the go to mod.

Reporting that it's still peak in 2026.

PD2 with Resurrected/PoE2 graphics would be my dream arpg. For me PD2 just wins in the gameplay department, so I stomach the graphics, although I'm considering checking out D2R Reimagined for something in between. But I got so used to WASD movement in PD2/PoE2 that it might won't work, haha.

One of my biggest issues is trouble focusing on other things when I have something meeting-related planned (dinner with friends, call at work, therapy session) that day, especially if it's in the middle/later in the day. I feel like an ADHD meme in that regard. How do you deal with that?

Is it convenient to play UU using it?

Thanks. I wanted to experience it vanilla the first time, and getting used to the controls wasn't a big issue. I know people recommend the UU Portable, but maybe that's for the second playthrough!
