Climates that are truly frigid for months at a time - they don’t plow but adapt using snow tires and footwear. We’re used to cycles of warming after snow storms and with climate change we are probably not going to invest much effort in solving these problems - still sucks while it’s happening!

Lots going on but from outside it seems that at least part of the calculus was that flight disruption for middle class and up travelers matters more than life disruption for untold numbers who’ll be deprived of health care.

Thank you for doing the work and helping DOT create safe PBL (Protected Bike Lanes). It must be annoying having the same discussions - at some point lets hope they break out of ‘Groundhog Day’ and just prioritize public safety instead of parking.
