Event Description: A human launches a blue aerodynamic disc into rugged alpine terrain. The athlete must immediately charge downhill through rocks, pine needles, and questionable footing while maintaining full visual lock on the target. Points are awarded for: • Explosive Start: Immediate sprint without waiting for permission. • Terrain Mastery: Gracefully navigating boulders like a four-legged mountain goat. • Mid-Air Capture: Disc secured before gravity can embarrass anyone. • Style Points: Dramatic stance while holding the frisbee like a champion. You’ll notice my current technique in this photograph: Front paw anchored on a stabilization rock. Muscles engaged. Disc captured with precision jaw technology. This maneuver is known in official Olympic terminology as The Ruby Pounce™. Competitors from other nations — Labradors, Border Collies, and a very confused German Shepherd — attempted qualification earlier today. Results were… disappointing. Therefore the judges have reached a unanimous conclusion. 🥇 Gold Medal — Ruby Rei, Montana Team 🥈 Silver — Also Ruby 🥉 Bronze — That stick I found earlier Now if you’ll excuse me, I must prepare for the next round of competition.
