See, I still find that more readable that later Edge layouts, even though it's in (presumably) Hungarian. :)

I used to subscribe to Edge, but stopped when their graphic design made it hard to actually read the articles.
(somebody really needs to tell them that red text on a green background is not okay :) )

His YT channel is excellent, which given he was a co-founder of Open AI before it went bad, isn't that surprising. :)
Excellent, looks like Spring is on the way!
<sneezes>
It begins again. Let's go, people!

Oh, and Discogs has a bunch of CDs for sale if eBay fails you.
Do be aware that the album this is off is pretty different to their previous stuff. But yeah, this one is awesome. \o/
Continuing to catchup of tunes-I-never-uploaded-before, today's Bandcamp release is my entry to the Revision 2025 Tracker Music compo:

If you want the original MOD there's a link in the description.

Not too much though, as when you listening to this sort of music in its intended environment you're generally just as close to the nearest speaker as you can be, and any stereo image you can perceive depends entirely on what pills you've taken.
First up is my entry to the Nova 2025 oldschool music compo (I came second, curse you VPZ). As BC is a bit more pro than SC I gave it a little bit of widening.
Been meaning to do this for a while. I stopped uploading to Soundcloud because of their AI policy but never got around to shifting to another platform. I've finally started uploading to my previously-empty Bandcamp account.
Wouldn't that involve Pink Floyd being removed from their own backsides first? :)
There is an art to getting out at the right time.
Checks and balances need to be in place, for everyone's wellbeing and the project's success. At the very least the auteur should have someone they trust available to, if necessary, take them to one side and tell them they're being a bit of a dick.
I get the need for auteur-led studios, it's good to have one cohesive vision bringing things together. It works well in film, etc. But the auteurs need to remember that they're working with actual people, and with other people's money.
Ah, but do they believe it? :)
Oof, BaRB made the normal person's news:

Hooo boy, that was close. Acid music entry emailed to TRSAC 2025 with two minutes to spare before the remote deadline. O__o
Note to self: Read website properly next time.

One of my work-provided WFH monitors just died so I've had to temporarily replace it with one of my own. They're both Dells, but the surrounds are VERY slightly different due to mine being an older model and it's driving me crazy. >__<
Yeah, making their own walled garden is another turn-off. Harder to avoid sadly.
Basically reducing the battery capacity by software after a fairly low number of charge cycles (around 3 years of my usage). That kind of makes the 7 years of security updates moot.
Up to $1800 now it looks like. :)
The NYT Mini Crossword is now behind a paywall. Truely these are the worst of times.
Do not care about gaming, camera or haptics, and _definitely_ don't care about AI. Will be sad to finally have to get a phone without a headphone jack, but there's always adapters.
Was just going to just get another Pixel [N]a but it seems Google are playing silly buggers with the batteries on their more recent phones, so thinking of a Samsung A26 as all I require from a phone is calls, text, internet and long term support.
