100% this. Special Character Areas operate like gated communities without the gate in Auckland too, and as long as I'm in office, there'll be at least one vote against them on the Council
Yep, next time I'll ask for the definition of a "serious injury", I'm sure it's been well defined for the purpose
Nah. We've asked in previous Cte's and were given a range of factors. You'd have to say speed and safe infra must be a major factor though
Go @carolgreen.bsky.social !
Call it in fam, you're doing the city a great service :)
Yeah g'day!
Revealed in the Transport Cte meeting today: 665 people died or were seriously injured on Auckland roads in the last 12 months, a 13% growth in serious injuries and a 25% growth in fatalities. This needs to be treated as a crisis
We're very happy with this!
Thanks to those of you who helped, you do amazing, important work.
Henderson's own K'Lee!
Not at that item yet, coming up shortly :)
Transport and Infra Committee today, and a really great prezzo from First Union about the conditions for our bus drivers
As city leaders, we need to show a strong commitment to workers conditions and make it our first thought when holding AT to account. Our drivers deserve it!

The what? Lol!
