I agree with all of that Lubo. Getting the ball to Mo faster/higher up the pitch, pressing as a unit higher up the pitch, being compact in the middle of the pitch, getting width from the FB's are all tactical issues - and all of which Mo/Gakpo/Macca/Grav/Virg/Ibou all need to be rectified is all

I totally agree the players have to foot some of the blame, 100% the majority of the squad been way off the levels needed. But, surely if we setup with the players in their 'best' position/formation, we might actually get the best out of them?

100% agree the squad is a HUGE issue, in-balanced, insanely thin in cover, profiles not being replaced etc etc. Certainly not a title contender

Blew my mind he wasnt involved at all last night. Although the system felt flawed from the off. How we havent worked out how to get the best out of what we have at present is worrying. Players look drained, and that definitely reflects a lot of the fanbase 😪

Yea it is/has been draining for sure. Feels like the need of an injection of energy/passion is needed to get us over the CL qualifying line I have to admit, which in itself indicates how poor this league has been this season

Agreed for sure here mate. He hasnt been able to come up with anything that fits the personnel - and players look confused and despondent because of it imo

Definitely in the midfield. Hopefully as a fan, I'd like to see him in the '8' role with Wirtz/Mo/Eki ahead of him, with Wirtz in behind Mo/Eki........ but he could be played in the 10 with Wirtz lop sided left. He wont be RB if that is the worry 🫡

Hahaha this is true.......however previously when all were available and fit, that was the system Slot was slowly moving to, like a 4-3-1-2 ish kind of formation. Think it suits the personnel imo.
Obviously Slot could play Gakpo through the middle if he feels Eki needs another rest ahead of 2nd leg

Just didnt look as sharp as normal. Unfortunately we dont have anyone to give him a rest with really, I know he sat out the cup game but still didnt look sharp enough. The midfield is the conundrum. I would play Mo up with Eki personally with Wirtz in behind. Kerkez/Frimpong giving the width

Hugely poor last night across the board. Wirtz didnt look 100%, Eki looked tired, Salah anon. Priority HAS to be league game imo so agree Salah will start. Eki will def play through middle imo. Would agree Gakpo prob does come back in. Slot hasnt found the right mid combo yet so 🤷🏼‍♂️ Will have a think🤔

This is pretty much where I'm at. Still some undecided, DGW33 isnt actually as enticing as it could be, one of the reasons I changed from WC32. Think i can cover most by FT's by then. FH34 is likely with the blanks, but again, still not convinced I'll be too loaded on the teams either way as chasing

Yea have seen a fair few more, given the schedule and Spurs performance last night etc. Haaland has been pretty poor recently, not too sure if Semenyo arriving has helped him really, but a title chasing team who has done it many times, I'm happy to hold him - maybe as more a differential too
