I was thinking, βthank you, Dannielleβ, as it was all making sense - the crumbs, the burping - and then the laughter bit made me pause and I realized youβd said βfirst birthdayβ and clearly THAT couldnβt have been me!

Happy first birthday to the little prince. Heβs a lucky liβl fella.
Ha! Iβm glad to hear that you are amused, Ms Caldwell, laughing at two confused old men! π’
Ohβ¦hang onβ¦it was just the one confused old man. Iβm off the hook. π
Woah! That was fab. No wonder itβs a late night. Whoβd want to go home with that groove still cooking?
A lot going on for just a trio. And, boy, that Mr Moore is one funky drummer. Gotta give him some.
I had high hopes of a track called Tropicoso by a band called Jungle Fire.
And equally high hopes of a track called Jungle Fire by a band called Tropicoso.
I was not disappointed by either.
Sounded at first like Quantic. And then it didnβt.
More Australians?!
As far as Iβm aware, punk is one of the few genres of western music that Bollywood composers didnβt blend into their spicy mix. Pity really.
Ha ha!
It was from me posting that track that led to you listening to the album that led you to think of posting that track! Itβs all a bit meta.
Maybe because βAaja aajaβ means βyouβre dumpedβ in Hindi? π
Actually, it means βcomeβ, so perhaps that chap ISNβT Jimmi. π€
(It was the excessive glitteriness that sealed the deal.)
Really? Itβs only been about 4 days since I posted that!!
Ooh! Which track?
Even her top is made out of a recycled mirror ball!
Should do. Ta!
I agree with Simon. These nostalgic trips back to things I'd forgotten about (& have no reason to be nostalgic about!) are a highlight of each month.
In fact, I'd say: "More more more, how do you do it, how do you do it?"
Ha ha ha. (Is that the correct response?)
Wonderful.
Until it got to the hook, I had no recollection of this, but then, BOOM!
Has anybody ever made a documentary about Pan's People? What a phenomenon they were!

Like most of you, my first thought was Bollywood. But which to choose? The rip off of Thriller? M's Pop Music?
Decided on this, which is NOT a Bollydisco version of the Undertones, but has mirrorballs a-plenty and nails that disco sound.
β οΈβit's also something of an earwormββ οΈ
Absolutely!
Glad you like it. A melancholic Friday listen.
Back to the discotheque tomorrow!!
Ahhh.
Ohhh.
π¦
I enjoyed that, but canβt think of anything worthwhile to say, so thisβll have to do.
Iβm no expert, but it all sounds a bit Neil Youngy to me.
Are you suggesting there wasnβt even an optimistic ending?!
Thatβs a bit worrying, considering you thought there werenβt in the previous bowlβ¦perhaps there were, initially, but in your thirsty, delirious jet lagged state youβ¦..actually no, letβs not go there.
Probably not surprisingly, yes.
Interesting! I particularly liked the female backing vocals!
New addition to my on-going citrus obsession. Bloody delicious.
Glad to be of service!
Woah! Impressive in every way.
I thought it was our friend @daveo.bsky.social when I first clicked on the link!
Β₯500?! Blimey. Thatβs not to be spat at!
Glad you enjoyed it. He has a few good tunes but this is one of the best.
Just go with the vibe!
Oh wow! I didnβt expect anyone else to know this!
Of course, it makes total sense. It would sit perfectly seamlessly on a playlist with your pick yesterday! π€£π€£
Thatβs how I respond to it too. And, although I could understand the gist of it before, it was only the other day when I googled the lyrics that I realized how sad some of it is!
It seems to end on a positive note though.
