The Danish Air Force has conducted long range patrol training for F-35 with support of NATO MRTT tankers. The fighters flew from Skrydstrup Air Base to Iceland & back, or about 5,000 km. Denmark has funded two new Airbus MRTT, which will be operating from Denmark when delivered.

Vintage Friday: Finnish Tuima-class missile boat Tuuli firing an SS-N-2 antiship missile in 1986. The class was similar to the Soviet Osa II, and built in the early to mid 1970s, and decommissioned by 2000. The engines were a quite unusual setup with three 56-cylinder radial diesel engines!
