I really enjoyed the game but these vistas felt hollow to me. They were pretty to look at but, since I knew the playable area was very small, there wasn’t a lot of reason to look at them. Contrast this to Elden Ring where the vistas were used to guide navigation and exploration.
This movie is so good.
IMO The Sims 2. Improved “wants/fears” system, fully 3D visuals, customizable neighborhoods, genetics, etc. If you haven’t played either, start with 2.

I love this game but people criticized the reliance on fal’cie and l’cie in dialog, no reason to look away from the minimap, and slow rollout of battle mechanics. In an era of Assassin’s Creed and Mass Effect, it felt limited and lifeless.
I think what people actually want is a game of similar scope, gameplay and tone. I agree that no sequel to BK will ever match the idealized memories people have in their heads.

I enjoyed Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but it felt like a game made for an alternate timeline. The PG-13, Marvel-movie tone was a huge departure from previous games in the series. It’s a shame because the level design and combat are top-notch.
I enjoyed my time with it but it felt very “young-adult” with its writing and general plot. I wouldn’t call the writing bad, but it did not feel like it was aimed at the same audience as previous BioWare titles.
It’s a good game.
