A handicap blue and white painted sign on the asphalt of a parking space. The symbols are meant to be a pregnant women and a baby stroller, but it doesn't look like that. It looks like pac man being killed with scissors next to a dancer

I like that the only punctuation in that post is a comma

Wow. Interesting generational stuff happening
Have always loved this. As well as all the classic Bert and Ernie.

Enjoy!
Amazing album
This is a "papers please" "English is the official language" "eat slop and be grateful" "disappear the unhoused" "women are second class" "don't learn real history" "local FBI office" government and we really cannot afford to be smug about other countries' slide to open fascism, Aotearoa
Fed Farmers: Letβs massively increase water and climate pollution.
Greenpeace: No letβs cut pollution.
Fed Farmers: Letβs compromise and just increase it somewhat.
Greenpeace: no we must cut climate and water pollution.
Right wing commentators: Greenpeace is so unreasonable.
Yes; 100% deflating.

Yes not the most optimistic voteβ¦
Too hard to see and heβs gone now. I agree but my first thought was the man from one of my old favourite clips I show to classes - youtu.be/pnsizkVjGm8?...
Ah yes. Weβre visiting from New Zealand and was starting to think we must be quite conditioned to cold - the thinner of the two duvets places on the bed in this hotel is almost cool enough for me to get a decent sleep. Latitude - San Diego 32, Christchurch 43
Visible (just): my son playing Switch.
Also visible: man who my son said βlooks like John Williamsβ π
Iβve been in t-shirt/shorts in our room here in snowy Shiga Kogen but yes, enjoying the inside warmth today. Snowing all day outside.
Sung to the tune of The Banglesβ classic (that immediately started playing in my head)
Always a sign of a good time, a melodica.
The Education Minister is due to announce a 'refreshed' social studies curriculum on Tuesday with the Aotearoa NZ histories curriculum likely to be significantly watered down.
Jim Bolger's advocacy for facing up to out history will be trampled on if that is the case.

Marking #Wwise projects is feeling nice and speedy partly thanks to assigning some handy preferred key shortcuts for maximising the primary editor, closing windows etc and also having the handy "Modified" button in the Property Editor

Will listen.
Itβs beautiful stuff indeed. Hmmm have you come across The Church? (apart from theirs very well-known late 80s song). Another luscious band thatβs been around for a lifetime it seems.
Iβve been so into Slowdive over the last year or so (thanks to my son reminding me about them), and it was VERY pleasing to suddenly hear some coming from my car stereo yesterday - from a RADIO station. Very impressive and unexpected.
(oh, shame - climate police sounded potentially useful)

Having a pleasant, war-ravaged morning writing news stories. Ate my war-ravaged breakfast. Wife's out of the house at the moment, spending time with her friends at the war-ravaged Friends Of The Library store she volunteers at. I take a sip of my coffee. Mmm! War-ravaged!
Had to witness this for myself β itβs real, and even worse as seen from the footpath.
(Context: these narrow back-streets had a community-supported 30kmh speed limit⦠but in mid-2025, were forcibly reverted to 50kmh by the current govt.)
Dangerous, petty, ridiculous kneejerk vice-signalling, ugh.
