I said things like: “I can feel your encircling/protection of our conversation, and it makes me feel warm toward you” & “I don’t feel safe continuing my story after you interrupted, so I’m going to stop now” & “I’ve observed how sovereign you are all weekend, bc XYZ” and felt received all the time
• while I am usually very comfortable giving moment-to-moment feedback to men, all of us ladies were strongly encouraged to do so—and it was named that men could expect it. It felt exhilarating to be in a space where I was invited to share exactly my experience and let it land. For example:
• in a “design-thinking in the bedroom” workshop, I got to share my kinks with a group of men who then spent time tinkering with scene ideas for me! Even if they didn’t “get me” completely, that they even tried meant so much and turned me on
What I observed/experienced at SlutCon (Part I, before my longer piece):
• men were there to learn! And to experience joy and pleasure in their bodies, and to *please* women and make them happy
