Thanks to everyone who had picked up a copy of Consumed this week. I really appreciate the messages and emails!
Making indie books often feels like youβre working in a void, so itβs great to hear from people who picked it up.
I wanted to take quick second to say thank you to everyone that supports us financially. Indie comics outlets like ourselves couldn't exist without people helping us keep the lights on. We are forever grateful for that support. π

Spider-Boy!
I dream of the return of the Amalgam comics universe.
Working with John on the Consumed anthology was legitimately one of the best experiences of my professional career.
Not only was it a blast but I also got introduced to a bevy of incredibly talented individuals. Please consider picking the anthology up if you have the spare cash!
And now the book is finally hitting good (and bad) bookstores next week. The variety and depth of the stories in consumed is pretty varied, but that just makes it a better read. I hope youβll check it out books2read.com/consumed-ant...
Iβd be lying if I said it was easy. It wasnβt. But being able to work with all the incredible writers and @thewritekc.bsky.social was an awesome experience.
The variety of stories and storytelling had a lasting impression on me, and I always day-dreamed about making my own anthology. Then last year, I decided to finally do it.
It was like a box of chocolates. If one story wasnβt landing, that was okay, as there was another one to choose from which would be even tastier.
Iβve been a horror fan since I was a kid, when I got my hand on age-inappropriate books. Anthologies were always my favourite, because thereβs always an element of surprise. You never knew what was coming next.
