Happy international women's day.

This is protecting women & girls brigade, harassing a woman.

The police need to follow up on this targeted harassment.

I hope MP Hannah Spencer gets home to a nice brew after a nightmare day.

A slight improvement on yesterday's statement. But it still says nothing about the routine use of Scottish Government owned infrastructure, like Prestwick airport, by US forces.

We cannot stand up for international law while still putting our infrastructure at the disposal of those who ignore it.

Good to see the Lib Dems climbing off the fence. Shame they didn't spot the slippery slope during the Scottish Greens' debate on US military use of Scottish airports last month. Then they said challenging it was "not serious politics" and "moral theatre": www.parliament.scot/chamber-and-...

The US and Israel have contempt for international law. How futile to ask them to explain how their actions align with it.

It's urgent that the FM now answers the Scottish Greens' demand to block Trump's forces from using assets owned by the Scottish Government, like Prestwick airport.

John Curtice just told BBC News that if this swing from Labour to the Greens was repeated nationwide, Polanski's party would take 399 seats from the governing party.

He added this was also the worst Tory by-election performance EVER.

GOOD TIMES.

🧡A political/media guide to the "truth" about net-zero

1) Add up costs to install & run a net-zero energy system
2) Pretend fossil-fuelled alternatives wld be free
3) Do say "eco zealots are bankrupting us"
4) Don't say "free cars if we scrap net-zero" cos it sounds ridiculous
5) That's it!

Nigel Farage failed to declare β€˜Β£380,000 external earnings’ on time The Reform UK leader was found to have breached the rules by Daniel Greenberg, the parliamentary commissioner for standards

Nigel Farage breached parliamentary rules 17 times by failing to declare earnings of more than Β£380,000 - that's four times the salary we all pay him. Payments came from flogging gold, GBNews, Cameo, X and Google. Reform UK Ltd serves the super-rich who fund it. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Donald Trump continues to threaten the invasion of our allies in Greenland.

Scotland must be clear that we stand with our friends, by ensuring the US military cannot use Scottish infrastructure and assets to launch operations against them.

Reform's first elected councillor in Scotland says 'we are a landlords’ party' EXCLUSIVE: David McLennan said it was a "fundamental right of the landlord" to "regain possession of his or her property".

McLennan on Reform's website:

"I had a large portfolio of flats at one time – 17 – but Government regulation forced me to dispose of many.

"One of the main reasons for entering politics is the intolerance the SNP/Green fiasco was visiting upon landlords."

People vote for Reform because they feel excluded and frustrated and they offer an easy solution. Glib jokes don't help. Sorry to be po-faced about it but if we want to stop them we need to get real about that.

I'm not sure suggesting folk be excluded from a future Scotland based on where they live - and its current and historic voting pattern - is the best way to do that. I'm for the politics of hope and inclusion and doing the work to address inequality in our communities.

As one of the Greens in question - we were the only Holyrood Party to increase our vote, not just in percentage but in actual votes on a depressed turnout. It's tough here - small branch, challenging demographics, no elected reps, huge ward to cover. Not really representative of national position.
