Nothing yesterday but I did finish The Hobbit on Sunday night.

One of my fave work people resigned today and I’m sad. 😔

I got a little closer to the Tower and I’ve almost finished The Hobbit.

When I was in high school and my friends and I were trying to deconstruct yo watch, we almost always defaulted to The Princess Bride. You can’t go wrong.

Still beetling away at The Hobbit. I also got a bit further with A Big Ship at the Edge of the Universe yesterday

I’ve just got home from being out and about so nothing yet but planning on taking The Hobbit to bed tonight.

Went to an art exhibition today in a tiny South Otago/Southland town called Waikawa. It’s called Art at the Edge of the World and there was some truly lovely art. HOWEVER the best part of the day was this sign on the cafe we stopped at for coffee:

This is absolutely something Varric would do.

Varric. He makes the best pancakes, and there’s always a story that goes with it. Is it a true story. No one knows. But it’s a GOOD story and thats all that matters.

I managed to travel a bit further along the Beam, and get lost in Mirkwood with Bilbo.

Inquisition hands down. It’s my one true love.

Tonight’s #filmfriday is De-Lovely the 2004 Cole Porter biopic. I also have the Cary Grant one so that might be another viewing. I did fall down a rabbit hole yesterday reading about Cary Grant’s relationship with Randolph Scott. They were roommates. For 10 years.

I finished Exit Strategy yesterday and I travelled a bit closer to the Lonely Mountain with Bilbo and the dwarves. And I started A Big Ship at the Edge of the Universe today.
