I was angry when I wrote this book. I'm even more angrier now but I still think what I wrote holds. We need to behave like rats and bedbugs and cockroaches. Infest these imposed systems, chew them up, and make them disgusting and useless. Find community and defend it like your life depends on it.
It was mostly a response to the abhorrent treatment toward the LGBTQ+ and immigrants in general but it warned what everyone always wants about fascists-they don't stop with their scapegoats. They never stop until every ounce of opposition is gone.
I wrote Pest Control in the early days of this administration. It's a 60 page prose poem about embracing the label of vermin in an authoritarian state. I thought I was being slight hyperbolic when I called the Extermination Times. I never thought I undersold it.
