"Die Gedenkstätte verbreite weder »israelische Propaganda« noch »liefert sie Munition für den andauernden Genozid in Palästina«, heißt es in der Stellungnahme."

Der Fall Mendel ist auch sehr interessant. Kurz nach dem 7/10 stieß Mendel noch eher versöhnliche Töne an. Seitdem hat er sich aber wieder nach recht manövriert. Vermutlich weil er gemerkt hat, dass der liberal Zionismus tot ist.

Israel is extensively bombing the suburban area of Dahiya, south of Beirut. This is the namesake of the 'Dahiya Doctrine', a strategy whereby the IDF targets civilians and civilian infrastructure to put political pressure on governments they don't like. It's literally the definition of a war crime.
Qutoe: “I see few world leaders standing up for the rule of law in the face of blatant lawlessness. That is a great tragedy, and it is that failure that may ultimately spell the end of the postwar legal order.”
The US–Israeli war against Iran is “clearly and unequivocally unlawful.”
We spoke with OONA A. HATHAWAY (@oonahathaway.bsky.social), Professor at Yale Law School, about the international legal order and Europe’s reluctance to call the attack on Iran illegal.

Netanyahu shaking hands with Putin
It's amazing to me that there are still people who think they can be pro-Ukraine and pro-Israel at the same time. This is from Netanyahu's 2019 campaign, 5 years after Russia annexed Crimea. Keep on deluding yourselves that you can be moral on one cause and immoral on another.

Two points: All question are very conservatively framed, none mentions 'war'. Not even FoxNews could manufacture net approval for the war.
Has there been a regime in recent memory that has terrorised so many people for such a long time?
My 89 yo Lebanese-Palestinian-Italian grandmother, who fled the Nakba in 48 as a child to Lebanon, has essentially never lived more than a few years at a time in nearly a century of existence without being impacted by Israeli state violence.
And then they call this 'crisis in the middle east.'
And also their regular crimes. Really there's so many to pick from that "hold these fuckers accountable" is a winning issue for me
It took exactly five days of retaliation by Iran for Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Qatar to debate if they should withdraw investment from the US and Europe.
Ultimately, the West including Israel has learned from German history, just not what they've been pretending to have learnt the last four decades or so.
cute
Because Farage's antisemitism is the 'good' kind, that doesn't threaten UK foreign policy objectives. As for Polanski, he's not the 'right' kind of Jewish person and his foreign policy objectives are the 'real' antisemitism we should worry about.
lol, if you believe that I have a bridge to sell you.
Is Ed Miliband in charge in any way?
The only party standing for election in the UK and which offers economic growth, through investment in infrastructure in a renewables industry, are the Greens. Every other party offers managed decline with a side of refugee concentration camps.
Shroedingers Iran: An existential threat to Israel and the US and yet one that can be defeated within weeks and not such a big threat that Israel can't attack another country in the meantime.
This is not only incredibly weak, its false equivalence between Farage and Polanski is dangerous. One of them is a threat to liberal democracy, the other one is not. The text is a prime example of how radical centrism and the profound arrogance of self-declared liberals legitimize the far right
If they have to chose they will throw Urkaine under the bus in no time. On the point of existence threatened. There is no existential threat to Israel in the region. None of its neighbours and regional adversaries have the capability of threatening Israel's existence, unlike Ukraine and Russia.
Lipstadt is also a very good case study on how liberal antisemitism scholars have become radicalised and completely unhinged in their rabid support for Israel at all cost, over the last decade and a half.
Zur playlist hinzu gefügt, danke!
You can also apply this logic to the manufactured antisemitism craze of the last decade which James took quite a prominent role in among the reasonable™️ centrist dads of the media class.
Worth reminding that Dunty did everything possible in his power between 2015 and 2019 to prevent an alternative to this state of affairs.
I don't think constantly evading questions, licking Trump's boots and implying the audience is too thick to understand what's happening here will go down well with the electorate.
this is bait!
Wieder einmal kommen Zweifel an der Ausgewogenheit der deutschen Berichterstattung auf.

This is the thing with politics, your responsibility and culpability doesn't end after the day you lose the election. It's true for Obama then and it's true for Labour now.
