Hill country which is Austin and San Antonio. Both areas are mostly white and Hispanic. Your post minimizes the massive undertaking he has ahead of him when you consider the full picture. Comparing East Texas and the Gulf coast is like comparing northern and Southern California.
The Gulf coast is not East Texas. The two are different in local issues, approach to national issues not to mention landscape, demographics, income, and culture. That Crockett could bridge those differences speaks to her electability. The area where Talarico was popular is all in the same region -

This happened during Obama’s second campaign as well. All the polling places were changed and the website didn’t update - just like yesterday.

Lord help me. Have you looked around Harris county? Her support wasn’t just in East Texas. Look at the gulf coast. Also, not sure where you’re from, but it ain’t here. Texas population is focused in the east and along the gulf coast - where GOTV is best organized. Can you guess why?

I got the same text. I replied in kind of- the way the gulf coast taught me. Then I banned my husband from giving any money to anyone outside of the local down ballot and the senate race in North Carolina.
I have a sinking feeling about the primaries. These candidates don’t really seem to understand consensus or caucusing. I feel like we’re going to have a whole lot of Fettermans running around being chaos agents.

Another runoff for my district. This will be the third time district 18 will go to the polls. Then we go again in November for whoever wins.

I’ll vote for whoever gets the D candidacy for Senate in Texas, but my money and my effort will go toward a race that can be won. North Carolina looks good. Just like I made my effort for Georgia Senate races, that’s where I’ll look now.
So the Texas Supreme Court just ruled to pause the ruling allowing people to vote in Dallas County. They knew they couldn't beat her so they decided to mess with the votes. This is a preview of what's going to happen in November. Buckle up. Everyone needs to vote early in November.
I imagine this will be one of multiple tactics. In places like TX where Rs have an AG, a governor, or both, they’ll lead the push to go to court. In states where they don’t, they’ll have private parties ready, challenging registrations beforehand and totals afterward. This is just the beginning.
