Texas dems were spoiled this cycle, which is highly unusual.
I voted on Election Day religiously until 2004 - the images of voters standing in line in Ohio stayed with me.
I'll tell anyone who will listen to vote early in the midterm.

A map of Texas primary results by county with Loving county pulled out showing 10 democrats voted. 6 for Crockett and 4 for Talarico.
Special shoutout to the ten Democrats in Living county who showed up to vote.
Random Texas history. The runoff required when no primary candidate gets at least 50% was out in place to stop impeached former governor James Ferguson (who resigned & argued the Senate’s ban on holding office didn’t apply to him) when he ran against multiple progressive candidates in 1918. 🗃️

I saw early vote in Dallas indicated that it wouldn't be lopsided enough to augment Talarico's lead. But 🤷♀️

Put a little spreadsheet together. This is Talarico margin vs Hegar margin in 2020. Tracking pretty close on average but lots of variance (small counties). If you weight counties by number of votes expected, Talarico is running about 3 points ahead of Hagar.
