Hot take, @anthrocon.org needs to implement a lottery system like every other con that's on the same level of scale.
Software issues, technical issues, overbooking, and hell even the overhead of traffic from users trying to book a room could be easily avoided if they setup a simple lottery system.
I've gotten nearly half of my goal of $800 which definitely helps and thank you guys so much for the support
