As a Microsoft Loop user,
who mentioned myself,
I want to receive an email telling me I mentioned myself,
so I don't forget, I mentioned myself.
Bonus: No setting to turn this off.
Security and distribution are what keep these apps from taking over. As an industry, we should build reliable ways to detect implicit and hidden security flaws in vibe-coded apps. Once we achieve that, citizen and community apps will go mainstream.

I find these reactive AI automations as powerful as AI-assisted coding itself.
My favorite thing to do with AI in coding at the moment: Documentation drift detection. All the time I have Claude constantly review Code, Terraform, and Confluence docs to see if they still match. Each Pull Request gets checked if it could silently invalidate existing documentation.
ποΈ πLocal Calendar Sync is now on mobile.
Between the years is nerd time for me, so I finally ported it from desktop. Mobile just makes more sense as it's always online.
The app keeps calendars in sync. No cloud, no subscription. Private.
Let me know what you think!
In the latest version, Claude Code detects that I am using it for Swift and suggests me to install the Swift langauge server plugin, so it can access compiler features like go-to-definition and error checking. Really cool!
Imagine you could ban a font and you donβt choose Comic Sans. WTF.
Most important settings change in iOS 26.
Unimpressed with Copilot != unimpressed with AI in general, lol
Glad to see the fired Azure Front Door engineers found a job at Cloudflare!
Before heading to the gym, I quickly hand over three tasks to the GitHub Copilot Agent to work on in parallel in the background while I work out. Ready to be reviewed when I come back. What a time to be alive!
I can't believe that Windows is still showing me ads on a freshly installed machine. How much are they making out of it? It can't be worth the shitstorm.
In Visual Studio Code, you can now delegate //TODO comments to an agent! This is cool!
What to do in between two jobs? Start another side project, of course! So I started a weekly tech newsletter! https://whatdidimiss.io
Every Friday, I send out a handpicked list of news articles on AI, tech business, software development, and industry breakthroughs. Unexcited, no fluff, jargon-free.
You asked the 1% at Microsoft that are not on Windows and donβt have a German keyboard.
But to be honest: Do you really need it? I canβt remember the last time I cycled through the code completion suggestions. I either accept the default or deny and continue coding myself. Thereβs goes to the chat.
Haha no. I donβt use Visual Studio nor do I have a German Keyboard to test with, sorry.
Agents.md fixes the chaos of AI coding agent configuration. Project-specific AI instructions have been fragmented: CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules, ...
The future: A universal spec, already adopted by over 20k open-source projects. Let's all migrate to Agents.md and leave the mess behind!
My friend skipped our meeting. His AI didnβt. Whoops, I trash-talked to the note taker, which now thinks he runs an airline cleaning crew. As a result, it added some very disturbing tasks to his to-do list. Consider it payback for leaving me hanging. Sorry, Mike! π
Ey @sonarqube.bsky.social, you should protect me from security vulnerabilities and not become one!

The success of LangChain, an open-source framework for building AI applications, is wild! In Python, LangChain is now downloaded more often than the official OpenAI SDK.
Thatβs more than a stat, itβs a signal: flexible, open tooling wins the heart and minds of developers. β€οΈ
AI is the new Low Code.
Agents are cool. But agents that talk to each other? Thatβs where it gets interesting. Googleβs new Agent-to-Agent Protocol (A2A) promises exactly that.
One of us had to change the name.Β As you can see, LinkedIn is still called LinkedIn, so my Browser Extension is now "Make Social Media Great Again".
As a result, the Apple Gods now allow me to publish it as a Safari Extension. Safari users, your timeline is now π©-free too.
