I took a sick day and put in a call to my rheumatologist’s office. Nurse gave me some advice on how to handle it. So, here I am making an attempt to follow those instructions. This is almost misery.

I’ve had some kind of illness since last Friday. It feels like it’s gotten worse but it hasn’t been horrible… BUT my RA gets super bad when I’m sick. I literally could not get out of bed this morning without assistance. I can’t bend down to feed Henry or my cats. Can’t get up out of a chair. I hurt!

Bless his heart. He was upset that everyone is hating on his ole dad.

Got my hand caught in a closing door today. Looks worse than it feels. It’s just a tiny bit tender.

So thankful the new school year is in full swing, but I’m missing the no alarm clock summer. I struggle to get back into my “early to bed early to rise” routine.
