Personally, i just find Taro branching out into creating outside his original works exciting.

If you are excited for Yoko Taro's Evangelion series but only are familiar with NieR and not Drakengard, you are missing like the biggest part of where the style/tone of the franchise and the creator's work overlap. One of the most daring story narratives ever committed to games.
