“Reported kittiwake”. It was present for several hours and seen by 7+ people. It was actually still there when you were there…. and it was still present around 11.30am.

I located this 2cy Great N Diver at Grafham Water yesterday (1 of 8 seen). Prior to this, the counts of 8-9 birds have all involved 3cy/adults. It seems another has arrived!! It’s getting hard to keep track though @cambsbirdclub.bsky.social @birdguides.bsky.social #ukbirding
If Trump brings NATO crashing down (don’t forget NATO was created to protect Americans in Berlin from Russia following WW2) then the only winner IS Putin. He’d love a world without NATO.

Because the original “tracked” version didn’t record the totals either. So I deleted it and re-entered as historical. That too had the same issues.

Sunrise at Grafham Water today. My 214th visit of 2025. I recorded 169 species for the year (a few short of my best ever year here). Missed a couple of brief rarities. A good spread of common & scarce species, but the autumn was disappointing (despite seemingly prime water levels conditions).
Nice end to the years birding in Cambs; 13 Tundra Bean’s, 12+ White-front’s, Barnacle and 1,000+ Pink’s at Thorney Toll just before dusk.
