I never knew I was capable of disliking winter this much. It's making me miss last summer, which is saying a lot, considering how humid the summer was...
I'll never get tired of hearing about that 2001 #sixers team. They obviously didn't win but the Philly area went absolutely crazy for that team in a way that was right up there with the Phillies and Eagles' best runs. It was a truly magical thing to witness. #nba #philly #phillysports
It's a total slushy mess right now in Ocean City. Is it spring yet?
Wishing everyone a happy 2026

A Blender 3D render of the Pokemon Riolu peeking around the corner of a Kohr Bros frozen custard stand on a partly cloudy afternoon on the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. The Riolu is staring at the camera and acting like he is trying to hide. The boardwalk is completely deserted other than the Riolu, with several benches that no one is sitting on. The beach and ocean can partially be seen in the distance. The render is made to look like a photograph taken several decades ago with a slight blurry effect, film grain, etc. A yellow timestamp in the bottom right states that this fictitious photograph was taken on February 28, 1983 at 1:58 PM.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the way this turned out, especially considering the fact that I just started 3D design not too long ago. The most annoying part was that I drove myself insane looking at 10 billion reference images of TV cameras, but other than that, this was really fun to work on.
"No one was quite sure what happened during the 23rd episode of Trivia Challenge. All that remained was an empty studio frozen in time, the cold concrete floor littered with cards for questions that would forever remain unasked."
A Blender 3D render of an abandoned game show studio from the 1970s. In the background there is a large green, red and yellow sign with peeling paint displaying the name of the show: "Trivia Challenge '76." In front of that sign there is the host's podium, with peeling yellow paint and a red question mark on the center. A dirty, damaged RCA television camera is pointing at a rusted metal sign displaying the message "We'll be right back after this break." The camera has the RCA logo as well as a sign for the fictional TV station WDSY-TV Channel 7 located in Ocean City/Atlantic City. The floor and stage are littered with debris such as metal fragments and game cards.

Across and to the right there is a large green, red and yellow sign with peeling paint and broken light bulbs displaying the name of the show: "Trivia Challenge '76." In front of that sign there is the host's podium with peeling yellow paint. Directly across from the contestant podiums there is a rusted metal gameboard displaying four categories and five dollar amounts for each, ranging from $20 to $100. The categories are Watergate, Elvis Presley, 200 Years of America and The Big Red Machine. The cards displaying the dollar amounts have dirt and water damage and are tilted, peeling and falling on the floor below. The floor and stage are littered with debris such as metal fragments, game cards and pieces of the main sign that have fallen off. There is also dust everywhere throughout the air.

A screenshot of a fictional 1970s game show studio made in Blender. The scene has not yet been rendered and all objects appear as gray with no textures or lighting. A sign with text reading "Trivia Challenge '76" is sitting next to a gameboard. A television camera is pointing at a sign in the center of the stage. There is a podium for the host in front of the Trivia Challenge sign and several contestant podiums to the right. There are studio lights on the ceiling and one of them has fallen down to the floor. There is a curtain in the background and a doorway to the right where the host would have entered. There is also a large amount of debris on the floor in the form of game cards and small pieces of metal.

The camera has a sign on the side for the fictional TV station WDSY-TV Channel 7. On the ceiling there are studio lights, one of which has crashed down onto the floor. The floor and stage are littered with debris such as metal fragments, game cards and pieces of the main sign that have fallen off. There is also dust everywhere throughout the air.

80?! Holy cow.
The game Myst gave me nightmares when I was in early primary school. I used to worry that Iβd somehow get transported to the island and just stay there forever with no one to talk to. Also, Big Skulltulas in Ocarina of Time were scary.
A Blender 3D render of the gameboard for a fictitious 1970s trivia game show. The board consists of a grid of four categories and five dollar amounts for each, ranging from $20 to $100. The categories are Watergate, Elvis Presley, 200 Years of America and The Big Red Machine. The metal frame of the gameboard is extremely rusted and parts of it have broken apart. The cards displaying the dollar amounts have dirt and water damage, are tilted and peeling, and some of them have fallen out of the gameboard onto the floor.
My gameboard actually turned out better than I was expecting. I'm still disappointed that I couldn't use Atari 2600 as a category (because my fictional game show predates it) but other than that, this was a ton of fun to make.
