We hit over $4 M I L L I O N raised this year. Largely just by a community of everyday nerds, aiming to make a little bit of a change in the world.
People ask why I have hope for the future. Things like this is partly why.

14.1 lbs lost total, 10.7 of that being fat mass.
Wish I could've done a bit better on maintaining the lean tissue side. Just means i need to focus more on strength training. But I'll take what I've got.... that's almost 7% of my total remaining fat mass gone in 3 months.
Had my first followup DEXA body scan this morning, Baseline scan was in October.
Oct: 322.3 lbs total mass, 159.4 fat mass, 154.9 lean tissue mass
Today's scan: 308.2 total mass, 148.7 fat mass, 152.0 lean tissue.
Was looking in the mirror today while taking my meds. And I realized the definition in my shoulders and neck has gotten... dramatic. Clear difference between my traps and clavicle, in the hollow of my neck. I've never had that before. Ever.
It's taken two years. I think I'm coming to the end game.
It's striking that progressives like Tim Walz and Zohran Mamdani evoke the middle American attitude that, "Yes, we can fix these social problems because we're Americans and it's the right thing to do!" While the "America first" right only emulates failed and failing nation-states elsewhere.

Hades is typically outside of the genre of games I enjoy, and I struggled quite a bit at the start.

Seconding the bit about "Tex Talks Battletech". His videos are fantastic. While themed like a lecture, they're enjoyable and engaging.
If you're interested in EXTREMELY deep dive lore though, Sven Van Der Plank's videos are exhaustive.
As someone who's been in the Battletech world since the 90's... that's a feel. It's probably one of the single most built out science fiction histories, down to basically doctorate level military history theses of critical campaigns over 400 years of the setting.
