And as a teaser for what's Coming Soon to #GPSketch
An automatically smooth your drawing.
Draw, lift your pen and see your strokes being smoothed. You can cancel the process by just moving.
This also does its best to remove the annoying hooks at the end of your strokes!
#GPSketch 1.5 also gives you the ability to convert your Grease Pencil brushes into Texture painting brushes. And vice versa!
If you have really cool brushes you love and want to use them in GP or texture paint, now you will be able to!
Yes definitely!
What the add-on creates is geometry with uv mapped textures.
Be mindful that there can be a lot of overlapping geometry because of the planes / cubes or other geometry you'd generate making strokes. But if you manage with the spacing multiplier, you could optimize the overlaps
Thank you !
It's a first version, I'm sure there's still many tweaks that can be done to improve the mapping. But it'll make things easier to start from !
In #GPSketch 1.5, you can also import brushes from Krita, Photoshop, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint!
The tool will do its best to convert them with your settings in Blender but with the sidebar, you'll be able to tweak them with ease, then export them into your library!
#GPSketch 1.5 also comes with more tools to help with drawing in 3D space.
The sidebar got a big update as well in #GPSketch!
- Clearer setting for the default eraser.
- Essential brushes shortcuts with automatic mode change.
- HSV sliders.
- Brush randomization settings!
All configurable in the preferences!
#GPSketch got a big update!
Bringing a lot of new stuff including a new mapping method for the brush stamps. It'll make the texture always face the camera, which really helps sell the 2d look.
All done in the shader!

I worked on the assets and the set dressing of the scene, but the camera work and color grading was done by other people from the team like everything, it's a collaborative work! Under the amazing art direction of Yann LeGall!
I don't remember if I went that far. I remember one part when the creatures come indefinitely until you create an opening to escape. Then the friend you make eventually!
I really miss this game! Never managed to finish it when I was a kid

A LOT of bug fixes and improvements!
The sidebar got SO much more now!
Addition to rounded caps options, force fill and force flat for fill layer...
And introduction to import brushes from your fav 2D apps!
I'm finishing the update soon!!!
Thanks so much!
I'm also really looking forward to the release!! So much passion came into the making from the whole team!
Of course it's always a team effort, but I was working on the snowy mountains and the forest environments β°οΈ
Something I worked on!
Can't wait for it to release!
