Watching TNG with original commercials is the only way to watch, TBH.
Gonzo narrating, "And SAM *who did NOT die."
[Rizzo off screen] "Aw! isn't that swell!"
Huge Star Trek shot update! Fixed all sorts of issues, added some cool VFX to the scrubbing action, and fixed the lighting angles. High-sample render, working on the SFX now! Enjoy, and suggestions are welcome!

"Preparing for war with the Klingon Empire represents a political capitulation, but a strategic gain. Let's hope one makes up for the other." - Nancy Hedford, 2267.
As 2267 begins, the worst becomes the likely: and the likely becomes the inevitable.

Wonderful interview with @nascentnovice.bsky.social that is very nice about my work, @wolf359project.bsky.social and the work of @tranquilitypress.bsky.social: a proper shop window for the world of fan non-fiction
Thank you for getting out what might be my personal thesis:
"Do not make lists. By that I mean, make lists of things that have names and secured dates, but no story attached. Doing so is really limiting to others who want to play in the same metaphorical sandbox, if you do that."
i speedran thru this one but sharing another piece I did for the zine
Big thank you to @goldwagnathan.bsky.social for so generously letting me waffle on about my writing on his fantastic blog.
If you are following me and don't subscribe to The Journal on Civilization you really have to.

Charterite Campaign Poster, Luna, 2263. The New Charter Movement represented one of the first cross-federal political platforms in Federation history, with a shared collection of campaign pledges chosen by the movement's membership.
No conventions, no cosplay, no fanfic as we know it. Women in Star Trek created fandom as we know it.

The Advanced Super-Capital (ASC) Program was a starship design program undertaken by Starfleet during the latter half of the 2370’s. Created to develop Starfleet’s first Super-Capital starship in over 50 years, the ASC program would face no shortage of controversy before and after its completion.
the sound you can hear currently is everyone at @tranquilitypress.bsky.social screaming
Star Trek shot update! Some of the timing on the scrubber masks got f'd up, but I'll fix that in the next go round. Also, I feel like the lighting angle shifts a bit *too* much over the course of the shot. I'll tone that down. Enjoy, and suggestions are welcome!

Three copies of Okudazine are sitting in the bright sunshine on a 70’s vinyl floor covered in brown fern like patterns. The cover of the zine is based on a padd, the handheld touchscreens from Star Trek- the title is in all caps on the screen, with a diagram of some unspecified version of enterprise and a subtitle that reads- all about Star Trek displays. The surface of the padd that isn’t screen is heavily stippled because I just couldn’t help myself.
It’s finally here!! OKUDAZINE, a fanzine about Star Trek displays 🖤 #startrek #startrekzine
