One example of my boundaries when I first ran was “I need to be me.”
In politics it’s common and acceptable to edit yourself and appear a certain way for electability. I personally can’t do that, it makes me unhappy. So I needed to win as me, or not at all. Guided and shaped a lot of decisions.
