congrats!

also i already have one in a drawer somewhere
and yes, this is the second book I'm reading while taking a break from the gigantic ICE by Dukaj, which I am about 3/4 of the way through now! 1100pp!
Starting probably with AUSTRAL, through WAR OF THE MAPS and BEYOND THE BURN LINE (both of which I loved) and into LOSS PROTOCOL.
but mud HAS to be involved or why even bother
Well, I started reading Paul McAuley's LOSS PROTOCOL. I have a sense of Paul having quietly began a sort of new phase, from the extravagance of say, FAIRYLAND to the melancholic grandeur of THE WAR OF THE MAPS, continued here, with some lovely, quiet, heartfelt writing.
also well done! but will you have to mud wrestle paul kincaid (i like to imagine that's how the winner is decided)
as a serious author, i think it's wonderful you people have your own awards and things!
mine certainly do! ๐
