Well done us @cbffjuk.bsky.social who brought this complaint.
Tory Peer committed 5 breaches of standards over Β£50m Covid PPE deals and βdid not act on his personal honourβ.

Proud to be a member of @cbffjuk.bsky.social who brought this complaint. Lords Standards Commissioner said he βdid not act on his personal honourβ. I think that's the English art of understatement. More to follow.....
NEW π
This is what happens when ordinary people failed by the state come together to campaign for justice.
Our complaint against Lord Chadlington has been upheld: he breached standards over covid PPE deals.

Today marks the final public evidence session of the Covid-19 Inquiry.
On Tuesday evening, I was pleased to host a panel event to discuss what Parliament needs to do now with @cbffjuk.bsky.social in the House of Commons.

Almost six years after my fatherβs avoidable death, I will be giving evidence to the UK Covid Inquiry this afternoon. Retelling what happened to my dad is hard, but not learning from the mistakes that were made is far worse.

NEW: Cabinet Secretary, Chris Wormald has resigned.
Time for him to reflect on his contribution to pandemic failures as made clear by the covid inquiry.
No peerage please.

Canβt come too soon given his role in pandemic failures. Amongst other things, covid inquiry concluded he failed to correct assurances that Govt was adequately prepared.
Letβs put an end to failing upwards.

If the Government is serious about removing peerages from disgraced peers, let them start with Baroness Mone.
Faulty PPE killed during the pandemic. Nobody who played a role in selling it should have any role in public life.
Accountability now.

More evidence in Parliament today showing why the government needs to stop delaying the Hillsborough Law.
It's time to end the cover-up culture in Britain.
Let's make truth and transparency the default, not something that victims have to fight for.

A group of approximately 20 people of diverse ages and backgrounds pose indoors in a blue-walled room. Most are seated or standing while holding up black posters with colorful text that reads, "MARCH FOR LOVE. FOR UNITY. FOR HOPE. TOGETHER" and "LOVE IS BACK." The bottom of the posters mentions a march on Saturday, 28th March in Central London. The atmosphere is collaborative and organized, with pamphlets and bags visible on the tables in the foreground.
A large, dense crowd of protesters gathered in a public square in front of historic stone buildings under an overcast sky. Many individuals are wearing beanies and winter coats. The crowd is a sea of signs and flags; prominent light blue flags feature the "National Education Union" logo, while participants hold numerous black posters with the slogans "HOPE IS BACK" and "MARCH FOR LOVE. FOR UNITY. FOR HOPE. TOGETHER."
A large group of activists stands together in a high-ceilinged hall with brick arches and pillars. In the center, a large purple banner for the "TUC London, East & South East" is held high. Every person in the group is holding a sign, creating a wall of black posters with bold pink and white text reading "UNITY IS BACK" or the multi-colored "MARCH FOR LOVE" design. The setting appears to be a formal meeting or community space, with several people in the front row smiling at the camera.
Organised. United. Ready to fill the streets with hope and unity.
