Why is it so hard to find good pose reference to convey tension? Good thing I've got my own extensive experience to draw from 🥲

After lying around untouched for over 20 years, I finally tried out my ancient set of colored pencils. And now I’m wondering why I didn’t use them for so long - I love drawing with these!

ugh, yes.

yepp!! i made a photo album with my bad skin pictures, but sometimes i still wonder if it was really that bad. but it was the feeling of having multiple deep infections that was so distressing.. and knowing i had to tend to them for at least a week before they turned into pigment scars.

aww, tell her i appreciate that! i do feel like there's more conversations about skin imperfections these days, that weren't happening when i was growing up. i felt sooooo alone in my struggles because no one i knew had it.

As a person with acne, this helps my self-image: studying the faces of people who have it, and realizing they are still beautiful even though their skin has imperfections.

agreed. i have no clue why it's pushing certain stuff onto my feed. feels like a waste of time to figure it out, since it's changing all the time anyways.

i think there's so much value in real-life connections! was there any specific way you approached the con in order to get the most out of it? did you just walk up to people or did you table?
