I think it’s concerning to suggest that ethnic groups have loyalties (or have some inherent tendency to have loyalties) to foreign interests, particularly when it comes to ethnic groups historically targeted on that precise basis.

And, regardless, I don’t think your assertions are true either generally or specifically about Jews. The notion that Jews, or any other group, can never be truly part of the community in which they live is a horrific and fundamentally racist concept.

Except that the attacks on Jews for “dual loyalty” is, along with similar attacks on Asian Americans, uniquely situated in a context of bigotry and used as justification for violence. But why let history or context get in the way!
